Cal Tan's lotions work on a 3 step process:
Step 1 products are accelerators that speed up the tanning process to help you develop a beautiful base tan.
Step 2 products are maximizers, which should be used after your initial base tan.  These products will boost your tan to its full potential.
Step 3 products are used to help extend and enhance your tan at any stage.  These mostly consist of after tan moisturizers.

We always promote the use of lotions during tanning because they enrich your skin with essential nutrients that enhance your tanning potential.  They will also help you tan faster and help extend the life of your tan.  If you need assistance finding a lotion, please don't hesitate to ask one of our professional staff members.  If you would like to bring you own lotion from home, make sure it is intended for indoor use, and get it approved by an Aloha staff member.  SPF's are not allowed in the tanning beds, unless under very special circumstances (you should consult a staff member with any concerns).
